Zachary Quinto to play gay character in new Ryan Murphy series “An American Horror Story”
Zachary Quinto, best known for for TV’s Heroes and for his role as Spock in the Star Trek feature film, is in negotiations to play a gay role in the new TV series American Horror Story from Glee’s Ryan Murphy.
Deadline Hollywood reports that Quinto would appear in a “major arc” of the FX show as Chad, the gay former owner of the house occupied by Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) and his wife Vivien (Connie Britton) who, dealing with the aftermath of Ben’s adultery, move along with their kids into a new house that seems to know all about their fears and plays on them.
Quinto will make his debut in a big two-part Halloween episode. The first part will air in the series’ regular Wednesday time slot Oct. 26, followed by Part 2 on Halloween night.

James says:
He’ll come out of the closet after the “Star Trek” movies are over.
FAEN says:
I would watch Zachary read the phone book.
Scott Kjeer says:
I don’t know if there are photos/video of Zachary as a guest on The Bonnie Hunt Show from about a year ago (he was shooting or promoting Star Trek). He had on light gray tweed pants with either no underwear on or he should be VERY proud of his genes!
FAEN says:
@James-I certainly hope so.
