Zachary Quinto: There was ‘moderate amount’ of tongue in his kiss with James Franco
Leave it Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen to get the juicy – and not so juicy – details of the man-on-man action in the film I Am Michael starring James Franco and Zachary Quinto.
Quinto guested on WWHL Thursday and was faced with a barrage of questions from Cohen about kissing Franco.
Cohen: ‘Was there a lot of tongue in the kissing scene with Franco?’
Quinto: ‘A moderate amount.’
Cohen: ‘Did it seem like something he had done before with a dude?’
Quinto: ‘Yyyyyeah.’
Cohen: Were there boners happening?
Quinto: ‘Nnnno.’
Quinto said of the much-buzzed about threesome between he, Franco and Charlie Carver: ‘We kept our underwear on. The thing is, it’s not really that white hot in the film … it’s been sensationalized I would say.’
Cohen: ‘Way to sell your movie.’
In I Am Michael, Franco plays Michael Glatze – the man who went from gay, proud and founder of a gay twink magazine to become a pastor and the poster boy for the ‘ex-gay’ movement. Quinto plays his former boyfriend.
The script for I Am Michael is based on My Ex-Gay Friend, a New York Times Magazine article by Benoit Denizet-Lewis.

I’ve been watching Amazon for the DVD to be released. I keep an account there and have a phone number for support with expected new releases. This film is a must have for my DVD and Blu-Ray Library.
