Wishing a happy belated birthday to Patti LuPone!
The great Patti LuPone has soared on Broadway in Gypsy, Anything Goes, Evita, Sweeney Todd and Master Class and on the London Stage in Sunset Boulevard, Les Miserables and The Cradle Will Rock.
She’s a two-time Tony winning musical theater giant who is still going strong.
But to my straight friend Danny, she’s just Libby from Life Goes On.
Either way, she’s awesome and yesterday she turned 67 years old. To celebrate, some classic Patti performances.

Mark your calendars to watch Penny Dreadful starting on May 1st on Showtime. This Season 3, Patti will be featured as a “regular” cast member. She was excellent as a guest-star last year. She will be in good company with a star-studded cast composed of Reeve Carney, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green & Josh Hartnett, to name a few. It is my favorite show – very captive and entertaining!
