Wishing a happy 55th birthday to Greg Louganis!

Don’t want to let the day get completely by before wishing a happy birthday to the great Greg Louganis.

The greatest diver in US history turns 55 today and I hope he is having a most wonderful day with hubby Johnny Chaillot-Louganis (I took the photo of them below at an event last summer).

Whether he’s working in diving or acting or speaking out about HIV-AIDS, Greg is a true survivor.

When he went public about being gay and HIV-positive in the mid-90s, it impacted me to my core and I could never thank Greg enough for having the courage to share his story.
