Will “Noah’s Arc” ever be revived?
There were just so many stories left to be told and the show was one of the biggest reasons why a lot of us tuned into the MTV-owned network dedicated to LGBT programming.
But the promise of a feature film kept us from dissolving into bitterness and that film, Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom, was a wonderful gift to fans of the franchise about a group of black gay men living and loving in Los Angeles.
The feature film grossed $532,878 [according to Box Office Mojo] when it was released into theaters in October 2008. Who knows how much more if could have grossed had it ever been booked into more than nine theaters.
Anyway, when I ran into the man who played the title role of Noah, Darryl Stephens, and Jensen Atwood who played his boyfriend and then husband, Wade, I asked them this question: “Is Noah’s Arc dead?”
“Noah’s Arc as we know it is over although it seems it keeps breathing life,” said Jensen who can currently be seen nationally in a Coors Light commercial. “From what I hear, they’re trying their best to get some kind of spinoff going. I don’t know.”
“Noah’s Arc seems to never die,” he added. “Every year there seems to be new life to breathe back into it. They’ve been playing the reruns on Logo and they just played the movie for the first time on television. It’s still alive and kicking.”
Would he be open to stepping back into the role of Wade?
“I’m down, who wouldn’t want to see Wade again?”
A few minutes later, I chatted with Darryl about the possibility.
“There are a lot of rumors afloat,” said Darryl, who will appear in an episode of ABC’s Private Practice this fall. “I think most of the actors are open into it and I think that Logo was really impressed with how the movie did. I’d say that t this point anything is possible. Nothing official has been announced.”

Personally I am very disappointed in LogoTV right now. They actually took a groundbreaking show like Noah’s Arc out of the line up that was fresh and entertaining to give us hours upon hours of reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Come on Logo! Really! You have to do better!

Although I am hetero I enjoyed watching Noah’s Arc and those sexy hella fine men. For them to remove the highest rated, groundbreaking show on Logo makes no sense to me! Not to mention that the show was educational about reality issues in the gay community.Logo needs a wake-up call about what they air in place of Noah’s Arc..BORRRRRING! Please bring back Noah’s Arc in a spin off with the original cast.

I have seen some of the new shows coming to Logo, I cant believe they dropped Noah’s Arc to bring some of these new shows out. Please logo take a good look at what your doing. The fans want Noah’s Arc back,don’t we count anymore.

I really enjoyed Noah’s Arc and very disappointed when it was taken off the air. I am a straight woman that found this show to be very entertaining and funny yet very serious issues were addressed. Since Noah’s Arc been gone there’s nothing appealing to me and I feel LOGO should pay attention to their VIEWERS and bring the Original Cast back and watch your RATINGS skyrocket .

I’m to a black straight woman, that found the show so amazing and up lifting . Four black men for one, for two, willing to come out to the world about their personal life to me that so courageous. What i really like about the show is how gay people can be so happy and peaceful, fun loving, and proud of who they are and not caring what people especially think of them. the cast was so supportive of each other thats what really touch my heart. one day i hope who ever is responsible of the cancellation of the show, to please reconsider of bringing the people that i fell in love with to come back where they belong.

I can not beleive they just canceled the show the way they did. Noahs Arc was more than just a “show” for me being a young GAY BLACK man…it was sort of a map…a guide of how to navigate through this world of which I did not ask for. It taught me about alot of things that I previously did not even know about. Love…acceptence…peace..and free will. It taught me that it was OK that I was gay..and to be proud and not be ashamed. I think that this show being scrap the way it did took a major toll on alot of people gay or streight around the world. I can relate to the character WADE on so many levels, its just heart breaking to see that the show is over. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!!!!! It’s such an insperation and an asset towards everyone.

The Black LGBT audience doesn’t truly understand what’s at stake here. The Black community at large does not truly understand its influence. They actually have no choice but to revive those characters in some way. This kind of racial bias within a sorely outdated cable network like LOGO is so outdated, so 20th Century.
Bring back Noah’s ARC.

I think this was a great show, being a openly gay individual it had so many great lessons and views to the gay and straight community, it was both educating and heartfelt. I was so in tune episode after episode I was hooked and wanted more. I think it was cut short and I think it really had alot to offer viewers. I would love to see it return.

I just watched all the seasons and the movie on next flix and i loved all of them. I just really wish there was a season three two left us wide open with all kinds of thoughts esp. as to what happened with some of the other cast members and their where abouts. I DONT GET THE LOGO CHANNEL BUT I WOULD FIND AWAY TO WATCH ANY FUTHER SEASONS

I watched Noah’s Arc and Jumping the Broom for the first time. I loved it. I am a straight woman, and when I saw the show, I didn’t even look at it as a gay show, I recognized it a people in love, and struggling to get the relationships in their life right. I turned so many of my friends on to it, they thought I was crazy until they watched it. Then they knew exactly what I was talking about, “It’s about love and relationships no matter what preference”. If you don’t bring Noah’s Arc back, then we need a spin-off of Noah’s next chapter, with the same original cast. There are so many loose ends, after watching the cut out scenes, and back stories it left me wanting more.

I’ve been watching this show since this morning and I just felt in love with it for real honestly this show is not a gay show I leave with my girlfriend and she’s the one that presented me to this show and since them we watched it all the time and we even bought the movie well she bought but we watch it together honestly this is a love and a romantic movie there is nothing wrong with this show or movie.
We love the show and we would love for it to come back I honestly know that gay community would agree with me and would for the show to come back

I had never seen the show. but I just watched all 17 eps. non stop. it was addicted.it was like I wanted more.I also had never watched the movie which I stumbled on by accident. It was like the best I had ever seen. and I am no where near gay. never have been and never will be.I really wish that they would bring it back with all same cast.

I’m a 18 year old gay male and this show is so powerful and i can connect with it sooo much, what makes this show so much different from all the other gay movies and shows is it shows everything that gay people go thru, relationships, drama, exceptance, and just a look on what its like being gay. I began watching the movie first on netflix n realized there was a t.v afterewards and i watch all of it in a day because i loved it soo much, i was really disapointed when i got to the end of the show where the car flips and that was it……… VERY DISAPOINTED, I’ve never like a show so much and to see it end like that…. LOGO NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER AND START SEASON 3 or imma do it myself

As a lesbain women I am sick of my brothers being put out there like all they do is hook up, some gay men do however there are millions more who belive in true friendships, love and marrige, and thats what made us all fall in love with Noahs Ark. I REALLY hate Logo took Noah’s ARC off the air, that was a wonderful show that put the GLBT community in real life. Now me and my wife are stuck watching re-runs of both seasons and the movie. What can i say that hasn’t been said already. I’m an African and can truly say that Noahs Arc appealed greatly to the gay community in my country. Everyone just loves it. And just like many good American tv shows it was abruptly ended with no closure at all. Through show has to be brought back really.

Its 2015 and I’m sill hoping and praying Noah’s Arc comes back on. When I watched the movie skinny it seem to have gave me false hope that maybe Noah’s Arc might come back on when i saw some of the actors from there in that movie. I think it would have a great finical and emotional benefit for logo. It would really beome something wonderful and get alot more fans if it comes back on and hey put Jussie S. in it. Maybe as Rickys new boyfriend or anything major for the show. Dont lose hoe on something so beautifully captured on film.

So I just came across this show and watched both seasons in about 9 hours and was pissed to find out there’s no more show! I’m about to watch the movie. I am a white hetero woman and I loved it! “Wade” made it very easy to watch but the show and all storylines were amazing!! Now off to watch this fine ass man some more

Yes, I’ve watch this show when it premiered as well as the movie, and I often go back and watch the series from time to time and I think its time to revive this show, If Lee Daniels was able to revive the The Best Man to The Best Man Holiday and coming out with the third segment, and also if Ru Paul’s Drag can be doing very well, they can bring back Noah’s Arc. The Time Is NOW!! Bring Back My Girls!!

I think they should bring Noah’s Arc back. When Noahs Arc was on Logo, it made a lot of people realize what they really wanted out of life. It also helped alot of people come out. For example, I felt like I needed something but I just didn’t know what that was and I felt like I was missing some pieces of my heart, But Noahs Arc helped me put those pieces together. I thought I was going to die when they cancelled the show. But us as Noah fans have to stick together cause we still have a chance to bring Noah back. Go on twitter, or Facebook and find logo we have to keep asking that they bring back noah’s arc. I tweeted logo this morning and I’m sure they saw it. But let’s tell them how much we loved Noah and they might consider bringing it back.
