Will comes out to Gabi on “Days of Our Lives”
After all of the drama of Will coming to terms with his sexuality, we have a silly little detour with his ex-girlfriend Gabi.
It’s nice that Will comes out to Gabi in this episode, something he handles well and with sensitivity and directness.
But it happens in the context of Gabi plotting to break up hunky Chad and his girlfriend Melanie. Okay, I can see the appeal of Chad who is quite a catch. But Gabi has, in the past, been a very smart and self-aware girl. Why turn her into an idiot?
Well, at least it’s not as bad as the computer hacking storyline!

It’s time for a spin-off for Sonny & Will. Come on HBO or Showtime. Let’s knock this storyline up a notch and call it “Gays of Our Lives.”
