Why Miss California is not our friend

Egads.

I don’t think I’ve watched the Miss USA pageant since Bob Barker was the host and was still dying his hair brown! But thanks to the beauty of YouTube, we can still see some of the goings on. On Saturday night, judge Perez Hilton asked Miss California if she thought same-sex marriage should become legal in every state.

Her answer revealed her to not be the brightest bulb: “In my country and in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman.”

She did not win but was the runner-up.

I like what Alec Mapa wrote on his Facebook page today about it: “Miss California Carrie Prejean can kiss my gay married ass.”
