Why Ewan McGregor is my hero

Ewan McGregor, a Greg In Hollywood Morning Man earlier this month, is such a cool dude.

He was on ABC’s Good Morning America today being interviewed by new host George Stephanopoulos about his new movie The Ghost Writer out today but George also brought up next month’s release I Love You Phillip Morris in which McGregor and Jim Carrey play lovers.

The two also recently locked lips in Paris last week when they were inducted in France’s National Order of Arts and Letters. Stephanopoulos, showing a bit of homophobia that former GMA news anchor Chris Cuomo (who I had championed for the co-host job) would never have been caught doing. Chris always had the right touch when covering gay topics.

Anyway, the photo was showed on GMA and there was some laughing in the background as George referred to the kiss as “making out.”

I love what Ewan said: “Well that’s just two men kissing, and it’s, uh, in this age, in 2010 it’s extraordinary that it’s still an object of humor.”
