When Kelly Clarkson and Ben Platt did a duet of the gorgeous ballad ‘Make You Feel My Love’
Ben Platt paid a visit to The Kelly Clarkson Show this week. The first video of from years past when the singers did a duet of Make You Feel My Love. It’s gorgeous. Below are some highlights from this most recent appearance.
Platt dishes on seeing his first-ever Broadway show in New York as a child and having the dual discovery that theater is what he wanted to do in life, and the realization that “I’m gay.” “I remember…just being washed over with incredible gayness.” He also opens up about his obsession with Judy Garland and opening night of his new residency at The Palace.
Platt is excited to get back on tour for his new album “Honeymind” with collaborator Brandy Clark, and explains why he won’t be wearing one of his in-ears! He also dishes on wedding planning, the Met Gala and how he’s planning to stay alive for the next 20 years to finish filming the long-haul “Merrily We Roll Along” movie adaptation.

What a great duet.
Kelly, as we all know, can sing anything.
Ben is talented and a great performer.
I love to hear folks talk about when they first realized they were gay. For me, it was around 1st or 2nd grade. I just knew something was different. I was attracted to my father’s friends. Now what entailed being gay I had no clue. It was the same way going through school. I never dated. I never went to any proms. When I realized what dating a girl was about and what one did. I knew no way in hell that was going to happen.
