Dolly Parton tributes have been wonderful to read – mostly because people seem to appreciate her as a whole person: her kindness, generosity, wisdom, common sense, vision, philanthropy in addition to the music and all the showbiz success. This 2006 Kennedy Center Honors video is what I needed to see tonight and if you watch it, you will see why.
