When Bea Arthur threw epic shade at Tallulah Bankhead who had some harsh words about her “bone structure”
Bea Arthur is best known for her TV alter egos of Maude and Dorothy on The Golden Girls. But she is also so interesting as herself – a wonderful storyteller. Before her television stardom, Miss Arthur had a hugely successful career on stage including such hits as Mame, Fiddler on the Roof, andThe Threepenny Opera. She also worked on a show that starred Tallulah Bankhead who really pissed her off one night. Here is the story.
