Weekend Video Special: When Liberace guested on “Here’s Lucy” with cutie Desi Arnaz Jr.

Desi Arnaz Jr. was one of the cutest teen idols there ever was during the years he co-starred on his mom’s TV show, Here’s Lucy. So you gotta figure guest star Liberace – who we know liked ’em young – probably found Desi. Jr. pretty easy on the eyes!

I know I sure did in watching this episode on YouTube. While I’ve seen every single I Love Lucy episode ever more than a 25 times or so, I don’t think I’ve seen all the Here’s Lucys – or don’t remember them!

In this episode, Craig Carter (Arnaz Jr.) is on a high school club initiation scavenger hunt that includes a candelabra that he borrowed from Liberace.

Lucy of course thinks it has been stolen and feels obliged to return it to the famous pianist. A cute song and dance segment follows as the whole family end up with Liberace at his home.
