Wednesday Morning Man: Murray Bartlett!
Was so happy to learn that Murray Bartlett has been cast as one of the stars of the upcoming HBO series about a group of friends navigating life as gay men in San Francisco.
It doesn’t have a title yet but it also stars Jonathan Groff and is expected to debut sometime next year.
I first became aware of handsome Murray two years ago when August, a feature film in which he stars, screened at Outfest. Boy, he was just too sexy for words in this film.
Murray is probably best known for his role as Cyrus Foley on the CBS soap Guiding Light which was canceled in 2009. He had joined the show after finishing the Australian tour of The Boy From Oz with Hugh Jackman.
While in his native Australia, Murray also appeared regularly on the Australian television series Headland. His other television work includes appearances on All My Children as well as White Collar, Farscape and McLead’s Daughters.
Murray graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in his hometown of Sydney.

Awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed ‘August’. Surprised that I don’t know him from another one of my favorite shows-‘Farscape’.

Could it be called “hello ladies”? Right now Central Casting is looking for guys to portray gay kissing couples and to do full frontal and butt nudity. God, I hope that is the show Mr. Bartlett is on!!!!!

How nice to see more and more men who don’t look shaved and plucked.
