Wednesday Morning Man: Jim Castillo!
With his outgoing personality, infectious smile and those darkly handsome good looks, I’m glad to see meteorologist (okay, weatherman!) Jim Castillo back on the LA scene working for KTLA.
I remember him from earlier in the decade as a weatherman for KCBS and he was just so much fun and way easy on the eyes.
In between the LA gigs, Jim went to New York to work for the Fox affiliate WNYW Channel 5.
Jim’s first gig as a meteorologist was in Columbia, Mo. Besides doing the weather, he hosted an exercise segment and once told a reporter. “They called me ‘beefcake’ at the station. They made me do an exercise segment after the weather. I loved it.”
