Wednesday Morning Man: Jensen Atwood!

This is the 10th day of the Morning Man feature and after featuring such guys as Andy Roddick, Seann William Scott, Ryan Reynolds, Rafael Nadal and Daniel Craig, it’s now time to step it up a notch.

I present to you Jensen Atwood!

He’s the sexy star of the recent film Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom. He played the groom, Wade – a role he had for two seasons on the TV series Noah’s Arc. He also starred in the third season of the gay vampire soap Dante’s Cove. He’s straight but doesn’t mind playing gay.

“It’s definitely jump-started my career,” he told me at the premiere of Broom last fall. “These are unexpected choices that have fallen into my lap but I take them wholeheartedly and I’m thankful to have the fanbase that I have from Noah’s Arc, from Dante’s Cove and it’s because of them that I was able to do (a) calendar.”

Jensen is also one of those people who are also incredibly nice. The first time we met was about five years ago at an Outfest party held inside of a store on Melrose. He was working the valet and I said to him: “You look just like that guy from Noah’s Arc.” He replied with a laugh: “I AM that guy.”
