Wednesday Morning Man: Eric Sheffer Stevens!
After just three or so appearances on As the World Turns, I’m just nuts about Eric Sheffer Stevens.
His character of Dr. Reid Oliver is one of the biggest soap bitches of all time! The actor is taking what are some really fun lines and just making them all the more delicious with his wonderfully sarcastic delivery.
It’s such fun.
There is buzz that Dr. Oliver might become romantically involved with Luke Snyder (Van Hansis) which would be unbelievably hot.
And speaking of unbelievably hot, so is Eric!
I’ve tried to find out what I can about this guy and here’s what I know: he appeared in the 2004 Broadway revival of King Lear and in the original play The Coast of Utopia.
On television, he’s done guest spots on Law & Order, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Invasion and Numb3rs.
His film credits include roles last year in Julie & Julia – I’m thinking he was one of the friends who’s at one of Julie’s dinner parties – and a role as “Yuppie #1” in the movie Greta.

One can only hope that since the show has been canceled, the writers will go for broke with the gay storyline. But, please … a series finale reunion for Nuke.

He is a doll!! But I hope they keep him away from the Luke/Noah storyline. Does every new guy in their lives (Mason) have to fall for one of them? There are plenty of women on that show he can fall for. Preferrably NOT blonde ditz, Katie though! Has anyone else noticed his resemblance to another totally hot & awesomely talented guy, Rob Thomas?

I’m still missing him now that ATWT is cancelled.Loved him and Van Hansis as Luke and Reid.My TV screen sizzled just when they looked at each other and the kisses, out of this world.It was a beautiful storyline of two men who fell in love and brought out the best in each other…and they just happened to be gay.It was a tragedy how ATWT ended this story by letting Reid die and leaving Luke alone to grieve.I think the writers could have left us with a happy ending but chose not to.I’ll never get over this heartache!
