Wednesday Morning Man: Dan Cortese!

It was just one of those things.
I don’t remember exactly how it happened but a few years back I got hooked on the old WB sitcom What I Like About You starring Jennie Garth and Amanda Bynes as sisters. I thought it was energetic and fun. Then Dan Cortese joined the cast as the hunky fireman who married Garth’s character and, well, I loved the show even more.
The 41-year-old actor is both handsome and funny so I’d love to see him on a hit show and become as big a star as he deserves to be.
But it’s not like he hasn’t been plenty in demand since first coming on the scene as host of MTV Sports from 1992 to 1997, played Grant Show’s bad seed of a brother on Melrose Place, had a recurring role on The Single Guy for a season, and spent three seasons on the Kirstie Alley sitcom Veronica’s Closet. He also starred in the sitcom Rock Me Baby for a season. His most recent series was ABC’s Surviving Suburbia which aired last spring.
All he needs is a hit!

Paul says:
I don’t know how you do it, but you’ve come up with another winner. Too bad, Dan doesn’t get more exposure. These cuties are out there and you find them.
