“We are the World” remake for Haiti relief draws Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson and more

I hate to admit that I was in college when original
We Are the World was recorded but, I was. And I remember it playing on the radio again and again and again. Loved it!
That 1985 recording was for famine relief in Africa. I can think of no better reason to gather 80 stars together to sing the song again than earthquake relief in Haiti. So much need now and for so long to come.
Among the heavy hitters who took a part in the recording – once again produced by Quincy Jones – was the legendary Barbra Streisand. who I’m sure will be featured prominently.
Others included: Natalie Cole, Celine Dion, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Brian Wilson, Kanye West, Josh Grobin, Lionel Richie, Gladys Knight, Harry Connick Jr., Adam Levine, Jamie Foxx and many more.
