I have followed Ru’s career for years!!
I tell the story of Ru in the 90s posing for an ad campaign for eyewear. I brought the advertisement to work and showed it to my female colleague who said what a beautiful woman. Yes, Ru was decked out. I told her it was a man. And she just couldn’t believe it.
What a career over the years. I have heard about his upbringing and early years. What a ride.
I give Ru a standing ovation!! You did it, girl!! Thank you for taking drag into the mainstream!!
