WATCH: Neil Patrick Harris talks with Jimmy Fallon about his family and his new show “Uncoupled”

Neil Patrick Harris is heavily on the promotional trail this week chatting up his new Netflix series Uncoupled which premieres on Friday.

He stopped by The Tonight Show on Wednesday and talked with host Jimmy Fallon about about watching The Shining with his 11-year-old daughter, how he started his weekly email newsletter, Wondercade, and starring in Uncoupled.

In watching this appearance, I couldn’t help but think about how important and great it is to have NPH on national television talking about his husband and their children as well as his busy and thriving career because we have a US Supreme Court majority right now that seems quite capable of striking down the federal right for same-sex couples to get married.

Since we can no longer expect them to honor settled law, we can loudly remind everyone that we’re here and we’re queer and we’re not going anywhere.
