WATCH: Jodie Foster living her best, authentic life with her wife on red carpet at Cannes Film Festival
This video really struck me because a decade ago, we would not have seen it. But since Jodie Foster came out publicly as a lesbian at the Golden Globe Awards back in 2013, this scene is possible. I see a successful actress-director-producer, a mom of two, and a two-time Oscar winner being in the moment before the world’s press at the Cannes Film Festival last week. And at the end, she is joined by wife Alexandra Hedison.
It all just struck me as glorious.

Jodie never seems to age. And Alexandra, daughter of Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea actor David Hedison (and 60’s heartthrob) is an accomplished director and photographer. Love them both. Thanks for posting this clip, Greg.
