WATCH: Jane Fonda explains the real stories behind some of the most iconic moments of her epic life
Before Jane Fonda became an activist in the 1970s she says she was “so boring.” The two-time Oscar winner takes a look back at some of her most iconic moments including Barbarella, her workout videos, her Oscar wins for Klute and Coming Home, and tells us the “real story” behind them all.
It’s a measure of her remarkable life that her “so boring” period in the 1960s included starring in such films as Barefoot in the Park, Cat Ballou, and Sunday in New York and living in Paris while married to film director Roger Vadim with whom she had a daughter.
Now 85, she is coming off a.seven-season run in Gracie & Frankie on Netflix and still making movies. She’s also brought a lot of attention to the climate crisis and is trying to save our planet with her Fire Drill Fridays.

Richard Vestal says:
I love my some Jane Fonda. I remember Barbarella thinking she was truly beautiful, and that’s saying a lot for a guy kid at the time. People talk bad about Monster In-Law but I really got a big laugh.
