Steve Bakunas, the husband of Broadway and television legend Linda Lavin for the last 20 years of her life, has shared a video detailing the last day of her life.
They had rented a home in Malibu for Christmas but on December 29, she became ill and it was recommended that she be taken to the hospital.
On the drive up Pacific Coast Highway, Lavin said to her husband: “Honey, if I die, know that I love you so much.”
Those were her final words.
