Watch: Debra Winger shares funny story about running into Shirley MacLaine a few years back

Remember when Shirley MacLaine beat her Terms of Endearment co-star Debra Winger for the best actress Oscar then remarked on Winger’s ‘turbulent brilliance’ during her speech? It’s no secret these two ladies were not the best of friends but maybe that’s why they were able to be one of the best mother-daughter duos in the history of movies. Anyway, more than 30 years after making the movie, Winger and MacLaine were at the same New York restaurant and Winger tells Stephen Colbert how THAT went.
