WATCH: Barbra Streisand visits Jimmy Fallon!

Barbra Streisand really is the only artist who can put together a bunch of previously-recorded but never-released songs together and call it a new album and have everyone be super excited about it. I’ve even gotten swept up in it and have really been enjoying the songs. She has chosen thoughtfully and well and it clearly was a passion project that did not require her to record a brand-new album of new material.

Last night, Streisand promoted the album on Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show and also talked about the time Jackie Kennedy approached her in 1984 about working with her on a memoir. She confirms she is finally close to finishing it. She also explains why she doesn’t want to see a Streisand biopic.
