Gloria Vanderbilt, who has died at the age of 95, had been in the public eye since she was born. According to her son, CNN anchor and “60 Minutes” correspondent Anderson Cooper, the world had never gotten to see the side she shared with him. In their book, The Rainbow Comes and Goes, and an HBO documentary, Nothing Left Unsaid, both explored the loving and occasionally bickering relationship between mother and son.
