It is so fantastic to have Joy Behar on every night and to have her chatting with Wanda Sykes for some funny, candid and smart conversation about politics, her work, her sexuality, her marriage and gender equality in comedy.
Wanda has been making a lot of appearances in advance of the premiere of her new late-night show on Fox that debuts on Saturday: “The last woman to have a late-night show was Joan Rivers 25 years ago,” said Joy. “Dick Cheney was on his first pacemaker.”
Wanda tells Joy that she is not coming down hard on the president when it comes to LGBT equality: “Would I like for him to step it up? Yes. But I’m being patient because when he took over, this country was in the dumper.”
