I’ve done several posts already on the LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s 39th Anniversary gala including Jane Lynch being honored and remarks made by the hilarious Lily Tomlin and Kathy Griffin.

Now you can see it all for yourself as The Center has sent along these video clips below. It will be almost as if you were there!

NOTE: What I did not realize until after the dinner had started was that there was a picket line in front of the Century Plaza Hotel (I use a back way into the parking structure to dodge traffic) or that there had been pressure on The Center from UNITE HERE Local 11 (representing hotel workers) to move the event which it decided it could not do.

Anyway, no one has covered that story better than Karen Ocamb on her blog LGBTPOV. Karen reports that The Center will not be booking the event at the Hyatt Regency in 2011 as long as the boycott continues.
