Video: Tim Urban talks about the “Idol” tour

Tim Urban was my favorite contestant on American Idol this year and despite heavy criticism from judges, he stuck to his guns, smiled a lot and ended up finishing seventh.

I’m not sure who is interviewing Tim here but the chat seems to be taking place during a break in rehearsals for the American Idol nationwide tour which will feature the top 10 including winner Lee DeWyze and runner up Crystal Bowersox.

Tim will be performing Better Days which he sang on his final week on Idol.

“I think it fits me pretty well, it’s a big song and perfect for a stadium,” he said.

Tim wouldn’t say what his second song will be but promised that it will have a surprising twist.
