The tears of joy, and possibly relief, flooded out while Michael Sam was on the phone today finding out he had been drafted by the St. Louis Rams. He then celebrated with boyfriend and supporters.

Not ashamed to say I cried for several minutes. What a day it’s been-our GLBT brothers and sisters are marrying in Arkansas, Conchita Wurst wins Eurovision(fuck you Russia)and Michael Sam gets drafted into the NFL!
