Video: See Katie Couric scare the heck out of “The Late Late Show” host James Corden
If you’re not watching The Late Late Show with James Corden, you are missing what has quickly become one of my favorite shows on television.
It just works and having all three guests arrive at the same time gives it that fun Graham Norton feel and Corden keeps it all moving expertly and very naturally.
Katie Couric was a guest on the most recent show and played a very elaborate April Fools Day joke on Corden who fell for it so completely and was so mortified at what he thought happened to her that you felt more concern for him than laughter.
He’s really got us caring about him and rooting for him after a very short time on the air.

He was also wonderful rushing to ‘Katie’s’ side. I agree – it’s easy to root for him.
