It was a whirlwind weekend for the legendary Carol Channing and her longtime publicist extraordinaire Harlan Boll has shared with us some photo and video highlights.
Miss Channing participated in a Q&A with Justin Vivian Bond on Fire Island. It was produced by Daniel Nardicio and was not only standing room only, but people paid to stand outside and listen. Audience members included Alan Cumming, Michael Kors and others.
It was then to Tommy Tune’s penthouse home with its view of the East River and FDR Island for a party in Miss Channing’s homor with guests that included Brooke Shields, Tyne Daly, Eve Plumb, Arlene Dahl, Lucie Arnaz, Richard Skipper, Jim Caruso, Bruce Vilanch, Lorna Luft, Donna McKechnie, Peter Glebo and more.

I saw her one woman show in NYC about 11 years ago. It was just her, a piano & accompanist. She was terriffic ans literally stopped the show singing “before the Parade Passes by.” A great lady!
