   This year’s CNN New Year’s celebration from NYC was another total fiasco for the entire world to view. For the love of God, WHY does CNN do this to the United States of America that has such an abundance of talents who could make us all so proud at this very important event. Anderson is getting on my nerves more and more and this just did it. He functioned well reporting on the war in the Middle East, but is fast becoming boring and unacceptable as a gay persona. Kathy Griffin is such an idiot that it’s impossible to find anything likeable about her and considering her a “comedian” is simply laughable. She is tasteless and shows no class. In fact, there was nothing funny about their “show” – it must have turned people off, at least in New York and San Francisco!! Listen to the people, CNN, and next year give us Lady Gaga or Beyonce or even Bieber OR if you want it funny, consider Joy Behar and/or some great Afro-American star and FYI the country is full of absolutely charming and entertaining gay men and women. As an immigrant since a hundred years back, arriving by ship in Manhattan, I want to feel proud of my country on New Year’s Eve and especially proud of excited American faces celebrating together in fabulous New York City. I really consider myself a San Franciscan today. Just returned from 12 years in Mexico and know how it feels watching the tube from afar and feeling so ashamed and sad when the U.S. falls short. With all the shining stars we can do better, HELLO!!! Bibi Small
