Video: Here’s a kid a lot of adults could learn from!

This kid is amazing.

With all of the hateful and homophobic people running around pretending to be thoughtful adults, here is an 11-year-old kid who can teach so many politicians, religious leaders and other folks about what it means to be an American.

Will Phillips was featured on CNN last year after he refused to say the Pledge of Allegiance at school. He had thought about its meaning and decided that he couldn’t say “and liberty and justice for all” until gays had equal rights too.

He appeared at the GLAAD Media Awards in New York City over the weekend to accept an award given to CNN for the original story on his stance.
