Video: “Glee” star Chris Colfer visits Ellen and tells her he was bullied “every day” in school
Success is indeed the best revenge.
Glee star Chris Colfer, the openly gay actor who plays gay high school student Kurt on the smash Fox series, told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Thursday that he was bullied all through school.
Now that he is a big star, no doubt some of those kids wish they hadn’t been such idiots.
Kurt shares how he has gone “from being bullied and harassed every day to where I am now and everyone reminding you of how they used to be your best friend. I have a very good memory.”
Ellen was supportive and said: “You’re so talented and so creative and those people in that environment didn’t appreciate you and you’re in this environment and you’re appreciated.”
On a lighter note, Chris also shares a hilarious story of meeting Lady Gaga. He was so flustered that he bowed as if she were royalty. He also could not figure out what to call her: “Is it Lady? Is it Gaga? Is it one Ga or two Ga’s?”
Hilarious!

What a cutie! I love this kid, and Glee’s pretty cool too. He’s got an interesting career ahead of him! He’ll show those bullies just fine — good for him.
