Video: Footage from Doris Day’s 90th birthday party!
Doris Day turned 90 years young last week and there was a nice party in Carmel for the great star. She sure looks and acts decades younger and it is so nice to see that she had a wonderful celebration to mark the milestone.
BONUS VIDEO: Robert Osborne has conducted a wonderful interview with Miss Day to mark her 90th birthday. It’s only audio but she sounds just like she always did. Enjoy!

Joe says:
For how much Doris kept herself out of the public eye for so many years, it is just so heartwarming and wonderful to see her looking so good at 90 years old, bless her heart.
Jim Steele says:
What a great star! She was such a strong actress and a magnificent singer. We all think of her in the fluffy sex teaser romantic comedies, but she was so much more! Her support of animal welfare in the second act of her life as a celebrity won her many more fans. My mom (a fan) told us that the two of them used the same beauty treatment–Vaseline petroleum jelly! It works.

This is just wonderful! She sounds and looks fantastic! I’ve been a fan as long as I can remember and still have all of my Doris Day paper dolls and coloring books from my childhood.

Big thank you to those thoughtful people aware of how much affection there is in the world for darling Doris Day. I have been a fan since before my teens & always had a rail of different velvet bows to emulate this beautiful lady with a bow in my hair! I have watched Calamity Jane countless times and still sing along. All Doris/Rock films, all films with her handsome film companions watched countless times. For they are timeless. She is still a radiant star. Happy Birthday darling Doris. Never underestimate the warmth & loyalty for you. I do so enjoy ‘My Heart’ for the babe in your arms, and also the moving sound of your beautiful son joining you on the CD. God bless you. x
