Video: “All-American Boy” singer Steve Grand talks tearfully about feeling like he was a “constant disappointment”

A reader accused me of being “obsessed” with Steve Grand earlier today.

To that reader, I say, I’m just doing my job – giving the people what they want!

So Steve appeared on Good Morning America today and got choked up talking about the shame he used to feel about being gay: “I felt like there was no way I could ever make (my parents) proud. I felt like I was a constant disappointment.”

Now he’s far from a disappointment as his song All-American Boy has created a huge buzz and, no doubt, paved the way for this openly gay singer to be a star.
