Video: A Freddie Mercury 65th birthday tribute!

Had he lived, the lead singer of Queen would have been 65 today.

Freddie Mercury died far too young when he succumbed to complications from AIDS back in 1991 – just one day after publicly acknowledging he suffered from the disease.

Thankfully, Freddie left behind so much wonderful music like Bohemian Rhapsody, We Are the Champions, Crazy Little Thing Called Love and my personal favorite You’re My Best Friend.

In 2008, Rolling Stone editors ranked him number 18 on their list of the 100 greatest singers of all time. In 2009, a Classic Rock poll saw him voted the greatest rock singer of all time.
