Tuesday Morning Man: Sylvain Longchambon!

Don’t think it’s good practice to, every once in awhile, feature a Morning Man whose name you have a heckuva time pronouncing!

So, I offer you Sylvain Longchambon.

He is a French ice dancer who I had never heard of until I checked out the four covers of the 2016 “Naked Issue” of the UK gay mag Attitude.

Sylvain certainly was a good choice!

Here’s what I know about him: With skating partner Caroline Truong, he won bronze medals at the 2001 Ondrej Nepela Memorial and 2002 French Championships.

In 2011, he became even more well-known by appearing in series 6 of ITV’s Dancing on Ice partnered with then-girlfriend Jennifer Metcalfe. They had as bitter split – she said he dumped her over the phone.

Anyway, he skipped the next season due to injury but returned to the show in 2015 and was partnered with Samia Ghadie who he is now married to.
