Tuc Watkins lands recurring role as man who dumps Neil Patrick Harris in Netflix’s “Uncoupled”
Was binge-watching the second season of The Other Two a few weekends ago and thought Tuc Watkins was so good in one of the episodes.
I always want more Tuc on my screen!
So this is such great news I read in Deadline this morning: in Netflix’s new comedy series Uncoupled, Watkins is Colin, a hedge fund manager who blindsides his longtime partner Michael Lawson (Neil Patrick Harris) when he leaves him on the eve of his fiftieth birthday.
Uncoupled is created and executive produced by Younger and Emily in Paris creator/executive producer Darren Star and longtime Modern Family executive producer Jeffrey Richman. Uncoupled centers on a gay man who thought his life was perfect until his husband blindsides him by walking out the door after 17 years. Overnight, Michael has to confront two nightmares — losing what he thought was his soulmate and suddenly finding himself a single gay man in his mid-40s in New York City.
Watkins is such a talent and those of us who discovered him as the hilarious cad David Vickers on the late, great daytime soap One Life to Live in the 1990s know what a tremendous talent he is in addition to being an absolute hunk. He’s probably best known to mainstream audiences as Bob on ABC’s Desperate Housewives.
More recently, Watkins co-starred in the Netflix film Boys In The Band and can currently be seen recurring on Black Monday.

I was able to meet Tuc and his father a couple of times, both are very cool dudes. His dad is very proud of his talent.
