“True Blood” star Joe Manganiello workout secrets!

"True Blood" episode "Trouble"As Alcide on HBO’s True Blood, Joe Manganiello has quickly become a fan favorite.
Part of that has to do with the fact that the actor is built like a brick house!
How does he accomplish such a physique? He shares his secret in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly:
“Forty-five minutes of cardio in the morning., and then in the afternoon I would train with Ron Mathews. He trained Hugh Jackman for X-Men and Jennifer Garner for Alias. It’s high intensity, high impact, high heart rate. You don’t stop moving for an hour. It feels like someone is jamming a red-hot poker into my abdomen repeatedly.”
“I have no problem telling everyone what my workout “secrets” are because there really are no secrets – it’s just brutal ass kicking, repeatedly. Twice a day, six days a week. I really wanted to come correct for Alan [Ball]. The biggest thank you letter I could write was I’m going to kick some f***ing ass.”
