Tracey Gold speaks out at GLAAD Media Awards: “There is nothing wrong with being gay”
Much attention has been paid in recent weeks to Kirk Cameron’s anti-gay remarks.
So it’s nice to contrast that with the supportive comments of Tracey Gold who played Cameron’s sister on the long-running sitcom Growing Pains.
At Saturday night’s GLAAD Media Awards in New York City Gold said:
“When it comes to media, GLAAD is all over it. My former Growing Pains co-star made some comments recently. Kirk spoke his mind, but I want my voice of love and support to be louder. I say, there is nothing wrong with being gay. I was always taught that people should be loved and accepted for who they are.”
Bravo!!!
