TR Knight opens Sunday in “Parade” at Mark Taper Forum
Miss seeing TR Knight on Grey’s Anatomy?
Well, if you are in the Los Angeles Area in the next month-and-a-half or so, you can see him life on stage in the musical Parade which is in previews at the Mark Taper Forum and officially opens on Sunday night.
Knight quit Grey’s Anatomy at the end of last season because he wants to act and grow. His Emmy-nominated role of George O’Malley had largely been put on the back-burner which was such a shame.
But life goes on and TR has returned to his stage roots with gusto. He and Lara Pulver play Leo and Lucille Frank, a couple whose lives were caught up in one of the most shameful events in American history and whose poignant love story is at the heart of the musical.
For ticket information call (213) 628-2772 or online at www.CenterTheatreGroup.org. More photos by Craig Schwartz can be found at BroadwayWorld.com.
Once Parade closes in mid-November, TR will prepare for the role of Max in the Broadway revival of the classic farce Lend Me a Tenor to be directed by Stanley Tucci and is scheduled to open in February 2010.
