TR Knight is a married man!

Dot-Marie Jones got engaged over the weekend and now comes word via US Weekly that TR Knight married his boyfriend, identified only as Patrick, on Friday.

Apparently it was an intimate ceremony but there was some star wattage since among the family and friends in attendance was TR’s great pal Katherine Heigl with whom he appeared with on Grey’s Anatomy.

It was Katherine who publicly defended TR on television when Isaiah Washington made a mess of things at the Golden Globes in January of 2007.

“I’m not okay with what just happened in there,” Katherine told Extra or Access Hollywood or somebody like that.

I was standing in the press room next to Eddie Murphy when it all went down because the cast of Dreamgirls was set to take questions after Grey’s Anatomy folks cleared off. One minute I’m looking over at Jennifer Hudson and Beyonce standing next to each other, leaning against a wall, and the next there is Isaiah blurting out: “I did not call TR a faggot.”

OMG.

Yes, I went off course telling you all that but I got nothing on TR’s wedding – not even the other groom’s last name!
