Totally Random Video: Funny scenes from “Steel Magnolias” with Shirley MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis

During rough patches in my life, I turn to Steel Magnolias. This is as rough a time as I can remember so lets have some laughs courtesy of Shirley MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis in that classic film from 1990. It may be a tearjerker but there are plenty of laughs and most of them are provided by these two Academy Award-winning stars. I just love how Olympia, as Clarie, eyes a girdle-free wedding guest in a too tight dress dancing and observes: “It’s like two pigs fighting under a blanket.”
