Totally Random Video: From Liberace and Lainie Kazan to Jon-Erik Hexum – season one “Hotel” guest stars!
This is like a time capsule.
The ABC series Hotel ran from 1983-88 and starred James Brolin and Connie Selleca. The elegant St. Gregory Hotel in San Francisco was the setting for a string of distinct plots, usually romantic, often involving famous guest stars for an episode.
This compilation showed up on YouTube and I just love seeing all an array of familiar TV faces including Mr. Brady (Robert Reed), Mrs. Partridge (Shirley Jones), Lisa Douglas (Eva Gabor) Trapper John MD (Pernell Roberts), Fallon Carrington Colby (Emma Samms), Gary Ewing (Ted Shackelford), a Hardy Boy (Parker Stevenson), CHiPS stars Larry Wilcox and Robert Pine and so, so many more.

The one I always wanted to see was the season 2 premiere, with Elizabeth Taylor in her first acting gig after going to Betty Ford. Taylor, slimmed down and blonde, acted in a special script for her and lifelong friend Roddy McDowall. And Nolan Miller designed for her the first time…
