Tommy Cruise returns to “Mission Impossible”
The last time Tom Cruise stepped into the role of Ethan Hunt, the box office results were far below expectations and Paramount Pictures seemed to sever ties with the star who was seen as damaged goods following some bizarre behavior during interviews with Oprah Winfrey and Matt Lauer.
But Paramount Pictures confirmed todat that another action-packed, adrenaline-pumping Mission: Impossible adventure will hit theaters next year with Cruise as the star.
Tom seems to have rebounded a bit especially after his late 2008 movie Valkyrie grossed more than $80 million domestically. But this fourth MI movie will be a true test of what remains of his drawing power as an action star.
Cruise does indeed seem to have been humbled by the backlash against him a few years back and no longer inserts the controversial Scientology into interviews. Then there his adorable daughter Suri (mother is Katie Holmes) who has softened his image a bit.
So, what do you think? Does Tom have what it takes to score another blockbuster?

Ryan says:
I would rather throw up and then eat it than watch Tom Cruise in a movie. Back when he was young he was cute and hot, however, he is anything but cute and hot now. He cannot act to save his life and his personality is as appealing as cancer. And on top of all of that he has the emotional depth of a puddle.

My mother had an expression that clearly relates to my desire to see him in another Mission Impossible-Gag a maggot.
