Today’s Morning Man: Tuc Watkins!
Tuc Watkins celebrated his 56th birthday yesterday and the handsome and talented actor is aging like fine wine.
I already have my tickets to see The Inheritance later this month at the Geffen Playhouse and look forward to seeing Tuc onstage for the first time since I never made it to see him on Broadway in The Boys in the Band.
This is a busy time for Tuc who co-stars in the Netflix comedy series Uncoupled as Neil Patrick Harris’ ex. He also has a role in the upcoming series Unconventional which premiered at Outfest in the summer.
Tuc has been one of my favorite actors since I began watching him as the delicious David Vickers on One Life to Live in the 1990s. My fandom intensified when he played gay TV executive Malcolm for two seasons on Showtime’s Beggars & Choosers. He played Congressman Roger Harris in seven episodes of the series Black Monday. He was a regular cast member on Desperate Housewives and has a long list of TV guest spots on such shows as The Other Two, Major Crimes, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Franklin & Bash, Parks & Recreation, Castle, Awkward. and Telenovela and many more.
Tuc was very good in the movie version of Boys in the Band and starred in the feature film Retake.
All I can say is that whatever Tuc is in, I want to see it!
