Today’s Morning Man: Scott Foley!

Can you believe this handsome and talented actor is 50 tomorrow?

Time sure flies but I’m awfully glad we’ve been able to see Scott Foley are gracefully – or hardly at all – on our TV screens for all these years.

His milestone birthday reminds me of a little fib I told while interviewing actor Scott Speedman about 12 years ago. I told him I was a big Felicity fan (that part was true!) and that I was firmly in the Ben camp in the Ben vs. Noel sweepstakes.

But as gorgeous as Speedman was and is, the guy I would have picked in a heartbeat if given the opportunity would have been the luscious Noel played by the luscious Mr. Foley.

Scott has appeared in many roles since Felicity including starring for three seasons on the TV series The Unit, in 100 episodes on ABC’s Scandal and starred in the short-lived series Whiskey Cavalier and The Goodwin Games. He most recently starred in ABC’s The Big Leap.

He’s had memorable recurring roles on Grey’s Anatomy, True Blood, and Cougar Town, among other shows.

A little bit of trivia: Scott’s brother-in-law is Patrick Wilson! His wife, Polish-born actress Marika Dominczyk is the sister of Wilson’s wife, actress Dagmara Dominczyk.
