Today’s Morning Man: Rugby star Matt Cox!

Hunky English rugby pro Matt Cox announced this week that he is retiring from the game.

He’s 33 and plays for the Worcester Warriors. Cox made his 100th appearance for Warriors when he came off the bench against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park last August but has not played since November when he sustained a foot injury.

“Thank you everyone for your loyal support throughout my playing career,” he wrote in an Instagramn post yesterday. “Rugby has given me so many opportunities and I’ve been lucky enough to share the pitch with so many talented players over the years. There are too many memories from both on and off the pitch to list my favourites but I feel very lucky knowing I got to experience them all. Anyway this isn’t goodbye, I’ve just changed my day job.”
